Emotional Intelligence

Traditionally Emotional Intelligence is based on two main areas:

1)     How well you manage your emotions and decode their meaning for making good decisions in your life

2)    Your ability to accurately read and respond to others emotions

When you live in the vortex, this is just the starting point. Emotions serve as intelligent guides on your path to creating what you want. They are the compelling clarifiers of what you want and what you don’t want. You are aware of what you want because of how you feel. If your emotions weren’t providing positive or negative feedback about something it wouldn’t have any significance to you. You would likely feel neutral, bored or indifferent and you would not be drawn to experiences that you feel this way towards. As such, you know that your goals and dreams are meaningful to you because of how you feel when you think about them. Your emotional awareness regarding why something is important to you is vital to attracting it.

If you are like many people you are most often aware of your goals and dreams because you are focused on the absence of them. This often feels like frustration, stress and disappointment at not yet having something you want. In this way emotions are often used to repeatedly recycle the experience of what you don’t want. Why? Because emotions are primary energy generators and accordingly play a major role in engaging the Law of Attraction. Depending on your emotional intelligence skill level, this is the good news and the not so good news. Given that emotions illuminate your current point of attraction, your ability to shift your emotional state is absolutely essential to creating success in your life. Fortunately you can manage, change and transform your emotional state. The ability to shift your emotional state requires a specific skill-set. As you tune your emotions to what you want, you become a match to creating what you want and you activate the Law of Attraction to bring it to you.
